Let it Snow

After several days of feeling slightly smug as the weather attacked Britain to the North, East and west of us, we finally got our come uppance overnight with about 10 cms falling and blowing hard from the East. Cars coming down Moor End Road from New Mills were crawling gingerly along at around 10mph ( and that was the 4 by 4’s !! )

It was dangerous to stray off piste and walking proved a safer , probably faster , alternative. The gritter arrived on Church Road after a couple of minor skirmishes between motorists and walls.

I can confirm, I am that intrepid worker, braving snow, ice and cold winds, some say blizzards, to get to work.

And smiling! who would have thought it!!
One who knows this intrepid worker might have expected more of a grimace in the face of such danger and adversity – a face to tell the snow and ice to sob off in no uncertain terms….!!

Also why is the worker wearing a dress in the snow?

It looks beautiful with the snow everywhere, any chance of a snow koala being produced and indeed photographed…..?

the intrepid worker was actually wearing a rather snazzy cord skirt over thermals, bright yet functional. So yes, Koalas. Regrettably the snow is mostly gone so there will be no snow koala produced for photographic purposes. However your suggestion will be kept on file for any future snow occurances
