One hundred not out..

This is my 100th post since I started the blog last November. Since then, I have written over 44,000 words which would be a significant portion of a novel ( which average 75,000 to 100,00 words) Think of the royalties I have passed up, the film rights etc …

The blog has changed, become a little less personal and is now written with a wider audience in mind (which it now seems to have).  I like to think that it has some value, that it makes people smile or even laugh occasionally and that most importantly it contains a smidgin of some originality from time to time.

Another local blogger wrote about the blog habit last year: “Once you cross that line into doing a blog there’s a certain acceptance of a degree of narcisissm. The arrogance that comes from believing that what you are doing will be read and appreciated by someone else” I would certainly endorse that view from my own experience.

If I could ask one thing from anyone reading, it would be for some more feedback either positive or negative. If you don’t feel the need to or like leaving comments then at least rate the post (you need to click on the post title to view the whole post and then you will see the Rate this Star system at the end of the post).  So here’s to the next hundred posts and I hope you find them interesting, but if not , remember it’s not compulsory to read them.
